The Rooting Reflex is an instinctual reaction where the baby will try to latch on to an object that’s stroked near the corner of its mouth. It begins as early as 24 weeks into the pregnancy and becomes inhibited by the time the baby is six months old.

Step 1
- Tuner: Accessory Clear Tip
- Intensity: Highest Tolerable Level
- Pressure: Light
- Duration: 10 Times
For this step, we'll want to use the accessory clear tip. Set the intensity of the Tuner to the highest level you're able to tolerate. Using a light amount of pressure, use the clear tip to trace from your ear to the corner of your mouth and across your lips. Go ahead and do this ten times, then repeat on the other side of your face.
Step 2
- Tuner: Accessory Clear Tip, Disposable Glove
- Intensity: Highest Tolerable Level
- Pressure: Light
- Duration: 1 Minute
If you have a disposable glove, slide it over the accessory tip so that it's ready to go into your mouth. Put the Tuner on the lowest level. Open your mouth and lay the tip on your tongue with a light amount of pressure. Leave it here for one minute.
